Getting ahead in any industry is never easy – no one knows this like startups. FinSuperstars approached us asking for help in getting their name out there and getting them on the fast track toward success. This task was as challenging as it was exciting, but we’re still huge fans of this project.

With their rapid growth, Hybrid IT offices were now opening in other cities, and those desks couldn’t sit empty for long. Our main goal in this partnership was to increase their brand awareness for the purpose of reaching more medior and senior candidates to fill the roles at their company. It was decided that their social media presence had to take a different direction in order to increase their attraction. We needed something super interesting.

FinSuperstars is a startup company that offers various outsourced roles in the world of finance. These include Finance Analysts, Financial Controllers, Bookkeepers, Tax and billing clerks, Finance Managers, Financial Accountants, and Payroll and timekeeping clerks. They’re the cream of the crop in terms of talent, expertise, and knowledge – all coming from different European countries. Their mission is to help their clients save on labor costs while maintaining a reliable and trustworthy financial department.

How to Rise in the World of Finances?

As with any other startup business, the FinSuperstars had a great idea, a solid mission, and a strong team to back it all up. But what good is that when your company isn’t as famous as you’d like it to be yet?

 That’s why they decided to approach us! The collaboration started with a couple of meetings to get to know each other, where we agreed on our goals and the best strategies for achieving them. These goals included finding new clients and increasing their brand awareness. The client provided us with their vision for every aspect of the company and sent us materials we used for inspiration.

What Happened When Our Stars Aligned?

1. Brand? Built.

The very first stage was to decide on FinSuperstars’ brand identity. This included deciding on both the visual and verbal aspects, putting our writers and designers into the limelight. The copy was written in a semi-formal tone, using words that evoke feelings of trust.

Similarly, since the main association was money, the design department utilized circular shapes (e.g., in the ‘I’ of the logo), clean lines, and lots of blue, which is known for symbolizing reliability and security.

 For brand awareness, a social media campaign was created and launched with the goal of attracting startups who may want to save money by going for a remote accounting option.

2. Website? Created.

 There’s not much a marketing agency can do about promoting a business if that business doesn’t have a website. That’s where all our departments jumped in and handled this task with great focus.

 The first phase involved writing the copy for the site, as well as designing its appearance. Just like with every other step of this project, FinSuperstars were right there with us, sharing their vision and actively participating in the decision-making process. All elements on the website were in line with the brand identity – to be honest, trustworthy, and stable.

 After that, it was time to make sure that the site didn’t sit there empty. The content team conducted market research, created a strategy, and wrote relevant articles. Besides educating the audience and introducing them to FinSuperstars and their services, emphasis was also placed on SEO.

3. LEADS? GENERATED

 After everything was set and looking good, it was time to bring some new clients aboard for FinSuperstars. For that, we linked the website to ActiveCampaign and LinkedIn. This allowed us greater insight into the niche which would be interested in FinSuperstars’ services, so the next phase was testing. We produced lead generation materials and sent them both into English and Dutch to see which did better.

 These materials included leaflets and one-pagers that are on brand, as well as full of highly concentrated information that would be of use to the potential prospects. We also produced lead magnets, such as white papers, which proved very successful. It brought a huge client to FinSuperstars – a large Dutch company. Our testing also allowed us to solve problems and learn how to target industries better.

 Our outreach department approached people, mostly C-levels, who showed interest in outsourced accounting. This strategy also brought on some very positive results!

The Future Shines Bright

Seeing how we were with FinSuperstars from their early stages of development, this is a project we especially enjoy working on. We plan to continue this partnership for the foreseeable future and have many ideas for more creative campaigns!

 In the upcoming period, we’ll focus on content that answers the potential prospects’ pain points regarding finances and accounting. We’ll also do our best to show everyone why FinSuperstars is the right choice.
